We made four different types of bathroom (Standard, Superior, Deluxe and Disabled bathroom) for this 4-star hotel in Sweden. We produced 268 bathrooms in total for the Swedish construction company Serneke.
Design features
The washbasin countertop is in granite with a made-to-measure towel rail fitted on the front panel; the washbasin is single or double depending on the room type with a made-to-measure splashback to hold the taps and comply with special Swedish waterproofing and plumbing regulations.
The imitation wood under-countertop shelf matches the contrasting wall with wood-effect tiles laid in a running pattern.
The floor and walls are covered in 30x60cm machined tiles.
Bathroom furniture
The shower door is made out of bronze-finish tempered glass with black profiles and the mirror above the washbasin is round or oval depending on the bathroom type. All are made to measure with a black lacquered metal frame. Designer wall lamps with ribbed glass and a black finish on each side of the mirror complete the look.
Special technical solutions
An indirect lighting effect was created in one of the bathroom types by means of a ceiling recess containing a LED strip. This reflects light onto the wall to create a very soft and relaxing atmosphere.
